Out of UK on a ICT Short term Tier 2 visa

Hi,

I am in UK on ICT Short Term T2 visa - with validity until August 2015. I would like to go back to my home country in April. How long can I stay outside UK in order to come back to UK on the same VISA?

After how many days will the cooling off period start if you are outside UK?

What's the intention of returning to home country? If your current assignment is over and you are moving back, ideally your employer is reqd to report your movement to home office. Home office may cancel the visa in the system post this. Otherwise, there is no rule regarding the no. of days by when you can return to UK on the same visa. You can enter UK as long as the your current visa is valid and not cancelled.
