Contract is weekly but paid montly

Post by ftse100 » Sat Mar 07, 2015 4:33 am

Hi All

I am going to apply for my spouse visa soon under category B non-salaried. I am British and have a 2 months old baby and was born outside the UK.

Started work after a gap because i was back home due to some family issues.

The gross salary is below

Month 1- £824
Month 2- £1,563
Month 3- £1,945
Month 4- £1,988
Month 5- £2,022
Month 6- £1,948

The gross salary per year comes to £20,580

My contract says my weekly contractual hours lets say 54 hours per week and salary per hour £8.94/hr but I am paid monthly.

My question is do I have to wait for 26 weeks and get a payslip of one additional month before I can apply or my 6 payslips will do because if i count from month 1 to month 6 it does not make 26 weeks?
Secondly,
Is it good to apply the for the baby's British passport or should I apply under my dependent which will raise the financial requirements? Also if I apply for my baby's as my dependent, do I have to show a one bedroom accommodation or again one room also fulfils the requirement?

Kind Regards
Adi

The important thing you need is to present your pay slips in the last 6 months, with the last or recent not older than 28 days.
It makes sense to sort out the baby's passport bcos that will increase the financial requirement you're relying on.
For accommodation, baby will not be counted as adult, so whichever accommodation should be fine.

Thanks Rayking

Does anyone has an idea how long is the British passport process from Pakistan for a baby? I mean they say 6-8 months but if anyone has a personal experience please share?

And also
please someone guide me
Can my residency status In the last 3 years affect my baby's application for registration as a child born outside the UK to a British father because I have read somewhere but got confused that parent has to stay 3 years in the UK before getting child's registration done and child was born outside the UK?
In past 2 years I have stayed almost 17 months outside the UK.

I would really appreciate the valuable advice.

Please all help
