EEA2 request passport back experience

Hi Just want to share with you my experience of requesting passport back from Home Office, following this link: https://www.gov.uk/visa-documents-returned

Feb 16: application sent
Feb 17: application received
Feb 18: request passport back for work travel
Feb 20: COA allocated
Feb 23: passport received!

I had sent a special delivery envelop with my application for document returns and a cover letter stating that I need my passport for frequent work travels. Though I never received any emails from the home office to recognise the receipt of my request, I got my passport back very quickly, so nothing to complain about!
