Newborn Baby apply for citizenship

Hi,
I create this topic to ask about procedure to apply for my newborn baby.

She was born couple weeks ago and I will go to do her birth certificate next week. I have indefinite leave to remain (ILR) and my wife is Chinese. Hence my baby will be automatically become British citizen, wont she?

If I want her to have citizenship and also a British Passport, what should I do next after having her the birth certificate?

If the baby was AFTER you received ILR, the baby is automatically British as you correctly state. So once you have a the birth certificate, pick up a passport application at the Post Office, complete it and send it with the required documents.
