Thanks to all to help me out so far by your valuable sugegstions/advices.
Just need to clarify a slight technical issue about previous earnings.

I am planning to apply my application in next week.

Can i choose to show period from 25th Aug 06 till 24th Aug 07, as if choose this period then i get 5 extra points.

My question is whether can we choose dates within months or it has to start from 1st of month ?

As far as I know they are asking for whole 12 Months and month always starts from 1st.
Which period holds money for extra points? Starting or Ending?
IMHO you can either claim for
1-08-2006 TILL 31-07-2007
OR
01-09-2009 till 31-08-2007 (offcourse you have to wait to complete aug-2007 documents)

Thanks for your reply.Afterwards i was throughly reading through HSMP guidance but it doesn't say anything about whole month,it's talks about start Date to Date...but i am not sure...Senior Members/ Moderators, any thoughts, please ?

you dont qualify if you dont get that 5 extra points? if you still qaulify then i suggest you not to complicate your case as the month for salary are considered from 1st to 30/31st.

It will still work i.e. if you manage to get your Aug 06 payslip showing gross salary earned from 25th Aug 06 to 30 aug 06 and your Aug 07 salary from 01 aug 07 to 24 aug 07 and rest months payslip normally.

are those your payment dates? becoz normally the payment dates may be anything but your salary is usually paid in for a month starting from 1st. for example i get paid on 24th of every month but the pay slip clearly mentions salary month (which is usually the running month as most of the time salaries are post paid) So a pay slip dated 24th Aug would normally be the salary for month of August!!! I hope this explains your confusion and moreover HSMP allows you to choose a 12 month block period in any of the 15 month preceding your application.

In my case, Wages are paid weekly.That's why i had this confusion.
