Tier 2 ICT Long Term Leave to Remain - Eligibility for ILR

Hi There,

I would like to know am i eligible for ILR based on my visa details below,

I got my first UK Visa stamped on Sep 2009 in Tier 2 ICT Migrant category but unfortunately i could not able to travel.

Again I got the visa stamped on May-2010 and came to UK on Aug-2010 in Tier-2 ICT Established Staff and
since then i have extended my visa thrice as specified below,

Oct-2011 - Tier 2 ICT Short Term Leave to Remain
June-2012 - Tier 2 ICT Long Term Leave to Remain
May-2014 - Tier 2 ICT Long Term Leave to Remain


In Aug 2015 i will be completing my 5 yrs but i am not sure if i qualify for ILR?

Please suggest:
1. Do i qualify under ICT tier-2 after completing 5 yrs.
2. If above one is not true, is there anyway i can qualify for this? i.e. if i change my visa category to T2G then?

Any response/guidance in this regard would be highly appreciated.

It looks like your first entry clearance as Tier 2 ICT (based on which you travelled to UK) is issued based on rules in force after 6 April 2010. So, unfortunately you cannot qualify for ILR based on this visa.
If you move to tier-2G, you may well start the ILR clock from the moment you switch, and thus have to wait 5 more years until you qualify for ILR.

Is there any rule change for the ILR CAP eligibility? whether the date relaxed from Apr'10 to Apr'11?
