Change of Employment - Need Advice

Post by Jack&Jill » Wed Mar 18, 2015 1:08 pm

Dear Experts

My name is Jack(originally Jatin). I'm under Tier 2 General since June 2013. I am now changing my job. Actually I got my COS from my future employer today. I'm going to apply by this month end or next month beginning. My doubt's are

1. In my old COS, that is my present employer he mentioned Total weekly hours of work: 39, but my future employer he mentioned 37.50 as Total weekly hours of work. I'm worried about do they reject my visa for this silly reason?? Please advice.

2. And also my future employer he mentioned "Does the migrant need to leave and re-enter the UK during the period of approval?" Y. Do I need to go back to my country and apply? I'm already in United Kingdom and my present employer he did not cancelled my COS. What to do in this situation? Please advice.

I'm happy and it would be great if any experts in this immigrationboards would advice me in this.
Regards
Jatin

1. Even better.
2. It means you can be expected to leave UK for business tours during your employment.

Dear iworker

First of all thanks for your reply. You said better, that means reduce in working hours is OK?

Jack

Yes. It will mean you have a higher salary. Example:
£30k for 37.5 hours mean £31.2k for 39 hours
However, the job should be full time and over 30 hours a week.
