Impact of Cancellation of new assigned CoS ?

Dear All

I have a simple but important question which I hope you help me with.

I am working in the UK on a Tier 2 General Visa and recently have received a new CoS for a new job. However due to some personal difficulties, I have changed my mind and no longer wish to take up the new job and want to stay with my current employer. I wanted to just ask if the new employer cancel the newly assigned CoS, will it impact my current visa and my ability to keep working in my present job?

I really appreciate your advices.

withdrawing the new CoS, or letting it lapse by not applying within 3 months, will have no impact on your current immigration status.
