NCS or Postal application for MN1

Hi All
I am going to apply for my daughter for registration just wanted to ask should I apply through NCS or postal will be fine as I have concluded from different discussions here that MN1 is straight forward so just wanted to save some ££ and time, please guide

Unless you'd like your child's Passport/BRP card etc back immediately, you can go without NCS.

I went for NCS for my daughter and it paid, a severe bereavement occurred in my family and wife and daughter had to rush abroad, NCS's £90 were and still is the best £90 I've ever spent. Daughter got approval while she was abroad.

Yes, both original as far as I know. Hence the NCS service. See page 34 in MN1 guide.

I applied for my kid using pos and I did not send any originals of mine. Only my ILR BRP photocopy was sent.
Not even my passport copy.

Mine got approved in about 3 weeks time.

Interesting, can you please provide full details? Because its good if it could be done, information like was kid born abroad, did you have certified copies etc? That will be helpful.

Mine was MN1 - section 1(3).
Kid born in UK, I obtained ILR after birth, Kid is entitleed for registration as british.

No certified copies submitted.
I just sent the form+photographs, fee leaflet, child's foreign passport+BRP, Original full UK birth certificate, Parents Marriage certificate, Parents BRP copy.
