Switching from one sponsorship to another

Post by Star15 » Fri Apr 24, 2015 6:23 pm

Hello,

I am currently on Tier 2 (General) Visa and am looking for job, it has proven difficult. I like to know if anyone has any idea which companies sponsor employers considering I have a 3 month leave notice and visa sponsorship requirement.

Many thanks in advance for your advice.

Hi,

There is a list of sponsors from Gov.UK

https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/s ... _04_24.pdf

You can check if your potential employer is on the list before applying.

I hope this helps.

Thanks for your reply. I am aware of this list however it doesn't guarantee that employer will consider candidates whom require sponsorship.
I just wanted to know if there is a place that has a list of companies that would consider such candidates if their skill set meets their requirement.

thanks again

I am afraid there is no way to know if a sponsor is actually willing to hire other than to apply.

You can try approaching a recruiter. Let them know clearly that you will need to be sponsored for a visa. They will do the leg work for you. This is how I got my current job.

Also recruiters have inside contacts to many large companies, and can avoid fake job ads. Also they will spare you having to write cover letters again and again
