Claiming Child Benefit - ILR holder and spouse on Tier 1 dep

Post by cluelesss » Sun Apr 26, 2015 7:05 pm

Hi,

I am on ILR but my wife is still my dependant on a Tier 1 dependant visa. If i apply for child benefit in my name, will it effect her recourse to public funds condition as her Tier 1 dependant visa is due for renewal next year and she is subject to no recourse to public funds condition.

Regards

If you claim child benefit in your name as an ILR holder it will not affect your spouse Tier 1 dependent visa and extension.
