ILR - application few doubts to clarify - pls help

Hello,

I am currently on Tier 2 (General) visa and my wife is on Dependant visa.
We are going to apply for our Indefinite leave to remain (ILR) in the UK in the near future.
P
Please can someone advise / guide us as to when is the earliest we can apply for ILR considering below given dates.


Initial Tier 2 (General) application

Work Start date (mentioned on Certificate of Sponsorship): 01 AUG 2010
Work End date (mentioned on Certificate of Sponsorship): 31 JUL 2013

Residence Permit
Date of issue: 01 SEP 2010
Valid until: 01 AUG 2013

Tier 2 (General - Extension) application

Work Start date (mentioned on Certificate of Sponsorship): 01 AUG 2013
Work End date (mentioned on Certificate of Sponsorship): 31 JUL 2015

Residence Permit
Date of issue: 13 JUN 2013
Valid until: 14 AUG 2015

If you mean visa valid from date, then no sooner than 28 days before this date.

Did you apply for Tier 2 in the UK?

Yes we applied in the uk, but the employment start date shows 01 august 2010
PS : I have been working with this company since January 2007.

As far as I am aware, it is the visa start date.

What was your visa category before Tier 2?

Before Tier 2, my visa was Post Study Work.

My doubt is that my initial work start was 01 August 2010, so I complete 5 years at this job on 31 July 2015. So can I apply anytime in July 2015?

It is 5 years in the relevant qualifying visa category, not 5 years in the job.

It will be from the visa issue date.

01 SEP 2010 - this is the issue date on my Residence permit for my initial Tier 2 (General) application.
I complete 5 years on this Visa on 31 AUG 2015. Is this correct?
If yes, can we apply for ILR on 04 AUG 2015?

On page 58 (Section 10 - Biometric Residence permit) of Set (O) form - 10.6 Place of issue: What should I write here?
fyi - our biometric was done at Croydon.

On page 60 -- 10.14 Give details where your fingerprints were taken, including the town or city and country:
It was done at Croydon, Lunar House.
What should I write in the answer?
