Yes, note however that you need to show evidence that you can support yourself & any dependents without recourse to public funds. See page 67 of the SET(O) form.Chase53 wrote:No, You don't.nks wrote:Do we need maintenance funds for ilr as well?

Correct, no explicit balance is required (as was the case for previous T1 extensions) & there is no requirement to maintain a given balance for any number of months.askhan wrote:cs95tdg wrote:Yes, note however that you need to show evidence that you can support yourself & any dependents without recourse to public funds. This quite confusing, as far as I know you dont need to maintain any specific balance ? what is the minimum threshold and for how long you need to kept ?
Thats not correct. For tier 1 extensions we were supposed to show the minimum funds requirement of £900 for the last 90 days.Correct, no explicit balance is required (as was the case for previous T1 extensions) & there is no requirement to maintain a given balance for any number of months.
Re-reading my post, I see how I could have worded that sentence better . What I meant was that for previous t1 extensions you had to maintain a explicit balance over a given number of months. But that explicit balance or number of days doesn't apply for ILR. But you do need to show funds over the last 3 months to support yourself.Chase53 wrote:Thats not correct. The safest logical guess would be to go with what you had to show for T1, if you are able to.askhan wrote:How can someone guess, about this sufficient balance ?

From what you say it appears that it's not strictly checked or even requested by the HO caseworkers. But FYI it is stated as required in the SET(O) form on page 67.rukmesh wrote:and if it is not explicitly mentioned in the SET(0) form, why should I submit a statement ?
