New employer

Post by square189 » Tue Jun 02, 2015 8:57 pm

Hello,

I have been on a Tier 2 General visa for 2.5 years now. I want to quit my job and work for another Employer who will also sponsor me. Will I be eligible for ILR in 2.5 years from now, or do I have to wait for another 5 years after getting sponsored by a new employer? Please help. Thank you.

Best regards

You will be eligible for ILR in 2.5 years as long as you apply for visa from within UK and the continuity is not broken.
