Watch Out ! Changes to CSI for family member of EEA students

Post by lake1 » Wed Jun 03, 2015 12:49 pm

UKBA will be changing the requirement from 22/06/15 for family members of EEA student, they would be required to have CSI from that date because according to them at the moment only the EEA student is required to have one unlike the case for self sufficient EEA national and their family member.

Thanks for sharing this...I remember before UKBA introduced the EEA (FM) and (EFM) forms on 30 Jan 2015, they stated that CIS for the spouse of an EEA student is not needed as long as s/he can submit a statement proving that s/he has a job and therefore no need of CIS.

The link to this document is not even included on the gov.uk page about eligibility or the application form for family members of EEA students! I'm so glad I found this before I send in my application...
