English language test for FLR (M) extension

Hi, I entered in UK in 2011 on Tier 4 visa and did IELTS with 6.0 band.
I married to british national and changed my visa to spouse/partner visa in 2013. I got A1 certificate of trinity college london
for my spouse visa application. In next few months I need to extends my spouse visa. I spoke with UKVI person on last day and asked to
person that do i need to get another A1 english test. UKVI person told me that my first entry was meeting the requirement of basic english and i don't need to get A1 . But you know some times they(UKVI) create stupid issues in visa application.
Could you all members share your experiences regards situation like that.
