Ireland and residency with UK visa? Or just with Irish visa?

Post by Pellegrinelli » Thu Jun 04, 2015 4:29 pm

Hi

Just a quick question.

My non EU wife and I want to go to Ireland so I can excersise my EU freedom of movement and then come back to the uk with surinder singh.
She will need to get various stamps, (6months stamp and then full residency stamp). My questions is...can she get the 6 month stamp if we go to Ireland with her UK visa? Or must she have a type C Irish visa in order to live there with me?

Ok definitely type C visa, thank you.

We are planning to go to Ireland at the same time together in winter, and hopefully find a job somewhere...I hope, and apartment . What are your plans?
