Ireland IT jobs for non-EU

Post by dharmik222738 » Tue Jun 09, 2015 5:10 am

Hi All,

I am looking for a sponsor company for green card permit as I am non-EU passport holder.

I am IT professional with 8+ years of DW experience, looking for employer who can provide jobs and can process my visa.
If someone has gone through this route, requesting them to advise me on finding sponsorship job in ireland, or you if you can share your experience on my mail id (email address) that will be very much helpful.

I am trying my luck by applying some permanent positions,
And Yesterday got call from HR for one of the applied position, and I clearly mentioned that I am non-EU passport holder, but I think she was ok with it, and forwarded my CV for technical round of interview. let see!

Good luck,

Hope you nail this one.

If you come across any contractors who are established and are willing to take on employee who will pay all the needed taxes, i can consider that since i have little savings from previous contracts in Uk

Put your CV up on Monster.ie, most of the IT agencies get their automatic CV feeds from there. Update your CV from time to time so your profile on there is recent. It's not that hard for companies in Ireland to arrange work permits for specialist IT skills, especially compared to the USA and the UK, and many US companies are based in Dublin.

I'm guessing you are from India. If so, I would also suggest you also familiarise yourself with what common things in Indian English is confusing or not understandable to people outside of India. This will help a lot when talking to recruiters and during interviews. Things like upgradation, lakh, revert to me, do the needful, prepone, do one thing, and probably a lot of others.

I'm a Uk citizen but i'm looking to exercise treaty rights in Ireland so i can apply for my sister to be a dependant via the surinder singh route.

That will involve me finding employment for up to 6months and using the documentation to apply for a permit for my sister before coming back to the Uk.

I will look into monster and that.
