Hi,
I am currently on Tier 2 General visa. This was granted to me in November 2013 and will expire in November 2016.
The job code SOC is 1121. Back in 2013, I was a new entrant to the job and was given the new entrant salary of £20,500.
Now I am on £25,000.
The updated SOC codes shows that new entrant is increased to £20,800. but for experienced it has gone up from £26,500 to £31,00.
To apply for a tier 2 extension do I need to get an increased salary at £31,000?
My employer is not willing to increase the salary by that extent in the next 17 months. I am currently 26 years old and will be 27 before applying for the next visa, can I still apply as a new entrant?
What is the actual salary requirement for extending my visa with the same employer.
Alternatively if I find a new employer willing to pay the salary, will I be subject to a cooling off period and restricted CoS?
Any help is highly appreciated.
Thanks
