Exceptionally complex issue letter for tier 2.

Post by aangell5501 » Wed Jun 10, 2015 8:20 pm

Hello,
Forum users.
I've received a letter from home office stating that my case has exceptionally complex issues related to it & it would take them a bit longer for them to decide on my immigration matter.
May I know the experiences of people who have received such letters, what happens once this letter is received?? Any interviews, does it implies a refusal?

Don't worry about this letter, its just a template letter sent out to some applicants and might not even have any effect on your application if they are ok with your documentations. Relax and hope for the best.

Hi aangell5501,

I received a similar letter from UK home office in my country. After that I got a call from them and they arranged a personal interview via skype. This happened a week ago. You can see the current status of my application in my thread.

Cheers
Dgaur

Dgaur,
Have you heard back from them? and was your interview a general talk or more than that?

I have not heard back from them. It seems like after the interview they take around two weeks of time to make a decision. So just waiting with my fingers crossed. Interview was a deep dive into my current work and what I am supposed to do in UK. They also took details of my previous work related visits to other countries.

Hi Samjanas,
I had applied at the start of April but had to vary my application, so it's been over 8 weeks. Do keep us updated on the proceedings. I'll do the same.

Hi shah 1698
i had applied for tier 2 general change of employment after my previous employers liscense got revoked n my visa was curtailed. I applied on 21st of april but haven't received my visa yet apart from the letter saying that the case is delayed. Is there anything that can be done to expedite the process.
