UK Residence Card

Hello,

Apologies if this topic has been discussed already.

I would like to know if anyone has applied for a UK Residence card in the last 6 months and have received it already.

I am an Italian citizen living and working in the UK. My husband is from Costa Rica, he obtained a EEA family permit last year and he applied for the UK residence card (5 years) in January 2015. I know the processing time is up to 6 months (July in our case) but I have some friends that applied last year and received it in a couple of months.
