From UK side you don't have to do anything, not sure about Turkey.

Correct, my wife is also dual national but uses her British Passport.
Being British is a state of mind.

Once your husband is naturalised, he needs to contact Turkish Embassy in UK. He has to let Turkish embassy know that he's got British citizenship too otherwise he might have to pay fine or lose his Turkish citizenship (that's what Turkish embassy website says). I'm Turkish too, that's why I know it :)

It's better him to contact Turkish embassy once he's naturalised as it's not worth taking the risk even tho I don't think he would lose his Turkish citizenship if he doesn't let them know but he would have to pay fine I guess.

Here's the link: http://www.turkishconsulate.org.uk/tr/v ... p?PageID=1

It's in Turkish so your husband can have a look at it

On the top right corner of that page, there is a Union Jack flag and written English under it. If you click this, you can read the page in English too, dont have to wait for translation! :P
