Home Office appeal of Tribunal determination

Post by sarniw » Tue Sep 11, 2007 4:21 pm

Is anyone aware if the Home Office has successfully applied for a review of an Asylum and Immigration Tribunal determination? I'm especially interested if the initial appeal was granted on Article 8 (human rights) grounds.

It happens a lot.

I was at Taylor House today for a second stage reconsideration hearing. The client won her Article 8 claim, the Home Office applied for reconsideration, the Senior Immigration Judge at Field House found an error of law, and it was sent back for re-hearing.
I am not, and cannot, offer legal advice to particular people. I can only discuss general areas of immigration law.

People should always consider obtaining professional advice about their own particular circumstances.
