ILR - dependants - 90 day rule

I am working in the UK on an HSMP Visa and I have my wife and child with me as dependants. If my wife and child travel outside the UK for more than 90 days, would that have any effect on the ILR application?
In other words does the following rule apply to dependants?
"No absence of more than 360 days in 4 years and no individual absence of more than 90 days from UK"
