When can I apply for ILR Long Residence

All,

I need your expert advice, according to my visa stamp, my first UK visa was valid from 12th Aug 2005. I first entered UK on the 7th of September 2005. According to the rule, wondering is it true that I can apply 28 days before my qualifying date (either one of these dates). Which means that I can apply for ILR LR mid July this year?

based up on the published policies,
date you entered in the UK applies(not the date you got your visa on) and yes you can apply within last 28 days of qualifying period.
