Case:- Unemployed in the first qualifying year from 1st September to mid December 2010. Absences from UK during Sept - End October

Here is how it went.

08:15 - Reached Croydon as appointment was at 08:45, so didn't want to get caught in traffic and office hour rush
08:20 - Allowed inside using Airport security style checks
08:25 - Sent for Passport/BRP card and payment verification
08:50 - Case registered for Biometrics.
09:00 - Sent for Biometrics immediately
09:10 - Asked to wait in cafeteria or anywhere and decision/ results would be available with 1- 1.5 hours
09:15 - 09:30 Headed for breakfast in the cafe and relaxed a bit
10:10 - 10:15 Checking the screens as I wanted to see how long this would take
10:25 - Documents for collection message .
10:30 - Called to desk where approval letters and docs were asked to collect and sign on two pages with Name/Address/DOB verification
10:40 - Left PSC Croydon with a relief


Here is what we submitted.

1. Completed and Signed Set (O) form 05/15 version
2. Passport Photos (2 each for main applicant and dependent)
3. Passports (1 each for main applicant and dependent)
4. BRB Cards(1 each for main applicant and dependent)
5. Personal Bank Statements (12 months from June 2014 to May 2015
6. 12 payslips covering from (June 2014 to May 2015 for main applicant).
7. Main applicant eP60 online pdf printout for tax year ending 5th April 2015 (2014/15 tax period) Same employer
8.Employer letter for absences for 2012 and 2013
9. Letter explaining Absences outside the UK during the past 5 years
10. Life in UK Pass certificates (1 for main applicant and 1 for dependant)
11. Main applicant PBS Tier 1 Entrepreneur summary awarding 10 points for English language requirement, along with original degree and University English Letter.
12. Dependant PBS Tier 2 summary awarding 10 points for English language requirement, along with original degree and UK NARIC letter.

13. Co-habitation Documentation spanning from 2013 to 2015:

a. Letters with both Main Applicant and Dependant on them:

Marriage certificate
Rental Agency letters from 2013/14 and 2015 about renewal

b. Letters for Main Applicant:

i. Electoral registration letters with poll card
ii. British Gas Bills for 2013/14 and 2015

No covering letter was submitted as I listed all documents in order and put a Post It after every section.
