Ack letter

Post by chocolateorange88 » Wed Jun 24, 2015 1:54 pm

ok so my hubby got his acknowledgement letter and biometric letter both today so he has done his biometrics today.

on one of the letters it mentions them receiving form AN6 (1)+
does this mean it will take more than 6 months?

Where and how did you make this connection? Personally I think its irrelevant to time it will take for you application to approve.

No.
AN6(1) Standard adult naturalisation under section 6(1) of the British Nationality Act for those not the spouse or civil partner of a British citizen.

An application as a spouse of a British citizen would be under section 6(2)

If there's a contact number on the acknowledgement letter you could call them.

Then if that's the email address they've given you to contact them, that's the one you should use.

i emailed them last night and already I got a response just now.

Theyre saying it was a clerical error and the application will be considered under AN6(2) and not AN6(1).

That was just after the NCS last rang me to say she spoke to them and told her the same thing!

mow i can relax
