Help required in filling MN1 Form

Post by thinkingagain » Sat Jul 04, 2015 3:18 pm

Hi - I am applying for my citizenship and applying for my daughter born outside UK (7 Year old). My question is what should i give for question 1.1 and 1.2

1.1 Please indicate the section of the British Nationality Act. 1981 under which you would like the application to be considered. See Chapter 2 of the guide for details.

1.2 Immigration and Nationality Direcotrate or Border and immigration Agency or UK Border Agency reference number.

Regards,

For Q1.1, for a child born outside UK to parent/s applying citizenship it is section 3(1) of BNA
See https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/s ... e_2015.pdf

Q1.2 An optional field for if you have such a reference number.
Look on a recent visa-related letter you may have received from HO.
(A HO reference typically starts with initial of surname followed by numbers).
All that is gold does not glitter; Not all those who wander are lost. E&OE.
