HSMP - Prospects in London

I am an HSMP holder and is currently in Scotland.
For better job prospects, I wish to move to London.

Questions:

(1) Is it sensible to move to London for better job prospects and better rates?

(2) I have school going kids. Which is the best part of London to set up family?

(3) In which part of London many Indian software professionals stay?

(4) Is it possible to get a flat for £1000/month in a good locality with government schools?

You can try to rent in hitchin, hertfordshire. Rent for 2 bedroom is £600 to £650. Train to london kings cross takes 25 mins. Schools and colleges are there as well, which are pretty good, Have some local Indian shops.
If you are thinking of spending £1000, then you might as well think of buying here, the same amt shall be your mortgage and you can own it as well.
