EEA (PR) question

Post by mojo78 » Wed Jul 08, 2015 5:34 am

Hello everyone,

I have decided to open my own thread.

I hope someone can advice me on applying for document certifying permanent residence.
My situation is as follows -I am a citizen of one of A8 states, came to UK in February 2005, got WRS and worked until August 2010, my non EU husband got his PR based on me exercising treaty rights in 2012. I, however, did not apply for my PR at the time as I thought I got it automatically after residing in UK for continuous period of 5 years, but now I decided that this document would be good to have.
From August 2010 I did not work until July 2011, and from then I have been working until now.
During all this time I was outside UK few times which comes maybe to 30 days in total.
My question is: does this 11 months out of work period break my residence in UK and is it likely that I will be refused the document?
I am planning to send my P60s covering 2005-2010 period as proof of me working, and bank statements covering 2005-2010 as proof of my residence. I understand that the form asks for more evidence, however other proof such as bills and tenancy agreements, even one of p45s have been lost, or have been thrown away, as I never thought I would be needing all that again.

Many thanks in advance

Just send documents covering work activity between 2005-2010 and additional documents covering 2010-2015 showing that you did't left the UK for period of 2 years.
