Post by Siraj ud-Daulah » Sun Jul 12, 2015 6:23 pm

Dear all,

While Home Office takes an eternity to decide on my Naturalisation, my original passport has have expired. Once renewed, do I need to update Home Office with a photocopy or number for it ?

Please advice .

Many thanks ,

I think it would certainly be wise to advise the Home Office of the new passport's details. not only is it erring on the side of caution, I think we are required to notify them of any change and your passport details are a part of the form that you submit (if memory serves me correctly).

Thank you, kind Sir. Would you recommend sending over a copy; or just an email to their further nationality enquiries would suffice?

Drop them an email with your question and they can advise you on whether they would prefer a paper copy or whether a scanned copy would suffice.
