Residence permit start date?

Hello everyone,

I am filling up the online form for Tier 2 (General) Visa application. Under "Your current residence permit or visa", it asks "
What is your residence permit or visa start date?"

At the moment I am having a Tier 4 DES BRP, and on it "date of issue" is indicated along with "valid until". However, the CAS that I used to apply for Tier 4 DES previously states another date; "Expected course end date" from which my DES visa would have started most probably.

So my questions is that on my present Tier 2 (General) application, which date should I indicate for "residence permit or visa start date"?
