Which category she will apply for (I am British Citizen).

Post by lutforestry » Tue Jul 21, 2015 1:19 pm

Dear Forum members,
I am in a position to apply for my Wife visa who is living in this country about 7 years in different categories. 2008-2011: Student Dependent; 2011-2013: PSW (Post Student Work) dependent; In 2013 she applied for FLR(O) as I applied for SET(O) during that time. She had to apply for FLR(O) as my application was in the home office and her visa was about to expire. After that she got visa for 2 year which will expire in August 2015.

Could you please let me know, now under which category she will apply for (Now I am British Citizen).

kind regards
Lutfor

Thank you sushdmehta for your reply:
It is written as "Spouse/Partner Leave to Remain"

Luckily, they apparently treated her FLR(O) application as a FLR(M) application.

Therefore, SET(M), under the transitional provisions.

It would be much appreciated if you kindly tell me what date she could apply for visa as 2 year will complete on 14 August with FLR(M) and 14 August her visa will expire. Can she apply any time from now?

best regards
