invalid flr fp application and Ilr

Hi all,

My friend had 3 months remaining to fully complete her long residence, so she applied Flr fp to cover the 3 months. Unfortunately yestarday, 20 days after posting her application she received a letter from homeoffice stating that her application was invalid due to photo issues. Kindly please advise as what needs to be done? Does this break her continuous residence? Can she still apply for ILR ? she still has 2 months to complete 10 years though.

That is a bit strange, because according to the rules, a person is usually notified of the potential invalidity, and informed to remedy it within 10 days, failing which, the application is invalidated.

The person will need to sort out the invalidity action, or I envisage difficulty with the ILR matters.

yes read through the photo guidance what happens and implications if photo criteria is not met by the applicant
you might get few more days while geting this sorted out UKVI(if) accepting it to be their fault will give you few more days you or your friend actually after

tell her to apply flr fp within 28 days...once reached 10 years minus 28 days vary application to set lr....tell her to miss first bio as well
