Switching from Tier 2 ICT to Tier 2 General

Hello,

I am in UK on Tier 2 ICT established staff long term visa granted on Oct 2010 which is currently valid till Oct 2015. I have been offered Tier 2 General sponsorship (Unrestricted as switching in-country) from a new employer in UK. I will be soon making an application to switch in-country.

I may have to serve 90 days notice period back home (India) with my current employer.

So my question is, if my Tier 2 General starts from Nov 2015 and if I have to travel back to India for serving notice period before my new Tier 2 General visa has started, will I need to seek the entry clearance to UK with my new Tier 2 General (Unrestricted COS) as I haven't started with my new employer yet?

Please note:I will be resigning only after my new Tier 2 General visa is approved with start date from Nov 2015.
