Documents Needed for MN1 Application!!

Post by janinah » Sat Aug 01, 2015 6:33 pm

Hi All,
Yesterday my SET (LR) approved. Now i am thinking to apply MN1 for my uk born son. And, also i need to apply FLR (M) for my wife. Now, as far i know for MN1 Application Birth Certificate, Passport, my ILR docs and marriage certificate needed. I am thinking to go Local Council Citizenship service so that i don't need to send original docs with Application. As my wife will apply for FLR (M) very soon. Now question, if i using council Citizenship Service then do i need to send any original docs or only photocopy will be enough with application form ? Even passport photocopy acceptable ?

NCS will see your original documents required for the MN1 application and make photocopies of each themselves.
The originals will be returned to you.

Thanks for quick reply.

Another help needed... you know two referee needed...problem is my son only 3+ he will join reception in September. Now, question what professional referee is suitable for him ? Teacher ( one teacher is our neighbour...though he studied only less than 1 year, teacher knows us couple of years), Health Visitor, GP or my friends who are Professional Accountants. I can easily arrange two professional Accounts as referee... will it be acceptable ?
