Supplying your degree?

Post by sparobixcg » Wed Aug 12, 2015 11:38 am

Hi there

I am in the process of sending of my Tier 2 after finally (3 months later) getting my cos! Is there a list anywhere of the additional documents to send other than the base ones advised by the home office? I keep reading about cover letters, official letters of job offers etc but I can't see this anywhere in the UKBA documentation?

Also, as a native of an English speaking country, my passport is my supporting evidence of the english language requirement. Do I still need to supply my bachelor's degree, as I thought I read somewhere this was a requirement to qualify as the position being skilled at the correct level to be eleigible for a Tier 2 (general)?

Your CoS is all that is required to qualify that the employer needs you for your job.
The degree certificate is usually only provided as a proof of English language competency or unless explicitly requested for.
