Leaving and re-entering the UK with assigned CoS

Post by cmaclaug » Wed Aug 12, 2015 8:58 pm

Hi,

I have a very quick question. I am on a Tier 1 Graduate Entrepreneur Visa but have been assigned a CoS for a Tier 2 from my soon to be new employer.

I have scheduled an appointment on the 27th of August 2015 for the premium in person same day application with UKVI. As such I believe that my current visa still allows me to leave and re-enter the UK until the 27th when I physically show up at UKVI office in Croydon and submit my current biometric card, passport and application for approval regarding my new Tier 2.

Can anyone confirm if this is not true?

Thanks

Your current leave will remain valid until it expires or is curtailed or leave in another immigration category (subject to a valid application) is granted.
