EEA Family Permit - Supporting Documents

Post by ALBoston » Sun Aug 23, 2015 9:44 pm

Hello,

My husband (US citizen) and I (French citizen) are finalizing the paperwork for the EEA Family Permit.
I understand that supporting documents are not an exact science for this process, but I would like your opinion regarding which ones to submit.

We have met each other and entered a relationship one year ago, and got married on August 1st this year. We are living together in the US. I will fly to London on August 31st, he will join me on September 15th (to have the time to get his Family Permit...)

We currently think of submitting as supporting documents:
- Marriage certificate from the state of California
- Copy of my French passport + original of my French ID card
- A cover letter from me asking for the issuance of an EEA Family Permit
- My offer letter and contract for my job in the UK, showing my salary and ability to support financially as needed my husband
- Our common bank statement (we have a shared bank account)
- Facebook posts and pictures of our life and travels together, with our animals, friends and families to prove our marriage is genuine (I understand that they might ask this as we recently got married)

Should we provide anything else?

Thanks for your advice

AL
