Is schengen visa okay ?

Hello.

I have a family member who wasn't granted a visa for the UK. She was however given a visa for France and is in France right now on a schengen visa.

Question:

Can she use the schengen visa to travel from France to London ?

No, because UK is not in the Schengen area.
