Referee without job

Post by legend786 » Wed Sep 16, 2015 2:23 pm

Hi guys,

I have a couple of questions regarding my citizenship application if someone kind enough to answer it and thanks in advance

1- One of my referee has no job right now, will that be still fine to sign my application as a referee?
2- I have 3 PCN in last 6 years, 2012,2014 and 2015 respectively as far as i can remember. First 2 were issued by local council and 3rd one was by a private company which runs Lidl car park for overstaying than allowed timing

Should I mention all of them?

Much appreciated

Hyde

Having a job is not a requirement for a referee.

You need two referees meeting two different requirements

a) A professional referee of any nationality.

b) A British citizen with a passport.

I would presume that the referee mentioned by you could be the referee meeting the second requirement and possibly even the first (if they are retired members of the armed forces or solicitors, for instance).
