Help - Study Visa approved, Registration issue

Respected members
My study visa for Ireland has been approved and I will be travelling early October. The issue is that my college is saying they cannot register me for this year course as I have missed 2 weeks of lectures and they can register me for 2016/2017 session.

Can I still travel to Ireland?
I am just wondering can I still travel and go to college to ask them to register me.
In case they refuse to register me, Can I get admission into another college (in my relevant course) and get registered with GNIB?

P.S: The institute is a well reputed public institute.

If you have the visa you will be able to travel but you can not register with GNIB untill you register with the college.
