How long can one stay outside of UK before applying ILR

Post by kumar114 » Tue Sep 29, 2015 1:21 pm

Hi there,
I got my Tier 2 on July 2014 which expires on July 2017.
Last year December, I was outside of UK for 3 weeks and this year in July, I was outside of UK for 3 weeks. So total 42. But to be eligible for ILR, it says that one should not be out of UK for more than 2 months. So does that mean that now I only 17/18 days left that I can spent outside of UK? Or its only if one stays continuously outside of UK for 2 months?

Please help??? really need to know this...

Kind Regards
Kumar

.
Where does it say this? Provide the link to this information because what you have said is not correct.

Absence limits are 'no more than 180 days per 12 month cycle' to be eligible for ILR.
