I am new to the forum and I was going through the posts and found them quite helpful, thanks to forums like these that we are able to take the right steps and get through this pain staking task.
- I graduated the last academic year Aug 2015, Applied for a Full-time Job and got hired after graduation, My current scenario is that I was a on a T4 General visa which expired today on Oct 12, 2015.
I am currently working for a company which is in the process of getting a license and as always its taking longer than usual. - The first time the license was applied was around the end of July, which came back as refused because of some incomplete documentation and/or missing attestations, that was re-applied and the application was accepted which has been in process since.
- My Employer has been in contact with the HO and given the situation, case has been expedited as of 2 weeks ago and the HO also asked for a copy of my current visa which was sent.
- Today my employer has been in contact again with them, and the adviser said it is with the case worker and due to the heavy load of applications it might take another week or so, and there are no guarantees however it might be processed this week.
I have started the online application and saved it but as I don't have a sponsorship license number I can't progress with it.
- What should be my course of action?
- Should I have my employment terminated and then get a offer again once the License gets approved or keep working until I get the License number and then apply?
- As the UKBA adviser said to my employer I can apply within 28 days of my expiry so It is do-able if the license comes in time and the case has been marked as urgent.
- In case if within 28 days of the expiry of the visa the license doesn't get processed? Are there any alternative means to apply ?
Thanks.
