First British Passport after Naturalisation

Hi

I have just got confirmation from the Home Office that I have successfully been granted Naturalisation as a British Citizen.

I have been advised that in order to apply for the first passport I have to change my foreign passport in to my married name before I can apply and submit my foreign passport to apply for the UK passport.

Questions

1. My Passport expires in about a month's time, will this still need to be renewed? The high commission is in London, and they are unhelpful which is why I rather find an alternative way of getting a passport

2. Can I apply for the passport similar to the question I posted few months ago as below

The Naturalisation journey has been so long and yet another hurdle!!!

P.S - Does anyone know how to get hold of someone at the Tanzanian high commission they dont seem to be very responsive or helpful by email or even by telephone and also lack of understanding as to what I want.
