Got EC from Saudi Arabia

Got EC from Saudi Arabia

Finally I got my EC from Saudi Arabia.

I have submitted only photocopies of property documents, Bank statements, Salary Certificate, Experience certificate from current employer and Financial support letter. i have submitted bank statements of worth GBP 14000 + propert documents and valution certificate of GBP 48000 + Support Letter. Although is took all my original documents with me to the British Embassy but they insisted that they need only photocopies.

I submitted my case on 7th October 2007 and got approval on 9th October 2007. I applied for 2 months pre- dated entry clearance and luckinly got the one.

Although this forum was quite helpful in preparing Initial HSMP application but lacks EC information of countries other than India. I had a tough time to get prepared for EC but ready to impart my information regarding applying for EC from Saudi Arabia if some one is appleying from Saudi Arabia and really interested.

I want to say thanks for all the forum members for their support in the process.

What necessary documents required to carry along?
What is the easiest way to open a bank account, may be HSBC passport account?
As a citizen of common wealth country, what registerations i suppose to do upon my arrival in UK?
How to get Mobile chip?
What is the procedure for renting out home?
Which area is better for Indian / Pakistani community for residence?
About schooling? and many more.

I will appreciate if someone can answer these questions for me.

Hi,
I got stuck in a situation wherein I will be in Finland & would have to file for EC from there...
I have got HSMP work permit from India...
Is your situation similar???
Can I apply for EC from Finland even though I have got HSMP Work Permit from India???

Pls Help...
