Dependent of A Settled Person

Post by sebabd » Mon Nov 02, 2015 11:50 am

Dear Sirs,

Could someone please help me with these queries , thnx ?

Im applying for ILR in 10 years route in December. I was on Tier-2 Visa for last 1.5 years.
My wife came to Uk in june 2015 as tier 2 dependent, her visa expires in Aug 2017.

Now that Im applying for ILR does she have to apply with me to switch her visa or she can wait until her visa expires.

What level of english does she require A1 or B1 if she has to apply now ?

does £18,600 earning threshold still applies as she is already in UK ??

Regards
Seba

She should switch sooner rather than later as traveling out and back into the UK will be risky. She can apply after you get your ILR either in person or by post.

English A1 and yes, you need to meet the £18,600 pa income requirement.

She will also have to pay the health surcharge of £500 for the first 2.5 year FLR(M) visa.

You need to meet the financial income requirement of £18,600 per annum with proof of this using bank statements and payslips. There is no minimum balance that you have to maintain like for Tier 2 etc.

sorry to bother you sir, As she already paid NHS surcharge £500 when she applied for her Tier-2 dependent visa to come to UK in May 2015. Does she have to pay for Healthcare surcharge of £500 again as she is applying for ILR's dependent FLR M.......would not gonna adjust anything from previous payment ???

Kind regards
Seba

She might have to pay again and claim a refund for the previous payment.

Re: Dependent of A Settled Person flr(m)

I've been granted ILR recently and I'm going to apply for my wife FLR(M) who has been living here with me for last 6months. However, we are living in a shared accommodation therefore we dont have a tenancy agreement
and no council bill. And the person who we share accommodation with has refused to give us a letter regarding shared accommodation.
I have managed 6 documents that shows Im leaving in that address. And for my wife , she has managed to collect 4 documents showing the address:
1.Bank Statement.
2. GP registration
3. Voter Registration.
4. NI Letter.
In this circumstances can I apply for FLR(m) for her ??
or, do I need more evidence that we are living in same address ???
How many documents do we actually need for a valid FLR(m) application?
