Moving to Ireland with non-EEA spouse

Post by danwhitey » Wed Nov 04, 2015 1:35 pm

Hi everyone,

My wife and I are looking at moving to Ireland.
I am a UK citizen and my wife is a Non-EEA citizen from Taiwan.

I want to ask for some assistance on if we need to apply online for a category C/D visa or if she can travel into the country without needing a visa?

We plan on entering together and I want to work. Would it then be possible to follow the Surinder Singh route back into the UK?

Apologies if this has already been asked before.

Thanks for any help.
