Flr o refused can flr fp be an another option?

hello folks

asking on a behalf of friend.

My friend had put flr o aplication in some times march but recently got refusal with no appeal rights, his 10 years will be completed in feb 2016, now his lawyer is suggesting to put another application which is flr fp just to buy some more times, he is really wondering about can this be an another valid option in order to not break his lawful 10 years

can anyone help on this please.

he can apply for flr fp wiyhin 28 days of refusal , talk to a solicitor and see what they say , but if he does within 28 days his continuity will not be broken.

ok thanks, yes he already has lawyer and consulting them for this..
