April salary processed in May.

Hi,

I came to US on 22 April. The salary for 9 days of April was processed in the month of May. It is not on the same salary slip as that of May. I recieved two slary slips in May. One of them was for the salary of April.

The number of days shows as 9 but the period beginning date and ending date is shown as May 01 and May 31 respectively.

I am worried about this. My company is not ready to issue any letter in this regard. Will this be a problem.

Yes, I am afraid it may well be. If the amount in the bank payment doesn't tally with the payslip they may well disregard the whole month.
